🇪🇸 🇫🇷 A Week in Lille with Prof. José María Azorín (UMH Elche)

This week, we had the pleasure of welcoming Prof. José María Azorín Poveda from Universidad Miguel Hernández de Elche (UMH), who spent a full week in Lille with the Defrost team.

This visit follows our stay at UMH in February, where we first exchanged on robotics and brain-machine interfaces with José María and his team at the Brain-Machine Interface Systems Lab.

During the week, José María gave two talks:

• Neurorehabilitation based on Brain-Machine Interfaces and Exoskeletons, for CRIStAL, the computer science laboratory of the University of Lille
• Where Brain Meets Technology: Non-Invasive Neurointerfaces to Control Robotic Exoskeletons, for the Institut Cerveau, Société & Technologies

Beyond these talks, the week left time for in-depth discussions, in particular with Hakim Si-Mohammed, on future international projects and labs between Lille and Elche. These exchanges are a natural continuation of the links between our two universities within the NeurotechEU alliance.
