🇺🇸 🇫🇷 Networking morning at the George Marshall Center

Thank you to Darragh Paradiso, the new Minister-Counselor for Public Affairs, and Carlsky Belizaire, the new Cultural Attaché at the U.S. Embassy in France, for inviting me to the George Marshall Center this morning.

It was a networking event bringing together American and French partners from academia, culture and institutions. I imagine it was a way for them, as newcomers to their posts, to meet the French ecosystem, and it worked well.

It was also a good occasion to talk about international cooperation in higher education and research, and about what it takes to keep partnerships between our institutions moving: student mobility, joint programs, shared research projects.

Looking forward to continuing conversations that started today. Thanks again for the invitation and the welcome!
