🇨🇴 🇫🇷 Visit from Universidad de los Andes

I welcomed Paola Mariana Vargas Castellanos, Chief of Scientific Diplomacy at Universidad de los Andes (Colombia), to Polytech Lille as part of a week-long delegation programme organised by the University of Lille (June 29 – July 3, 2026).

On July 1, Blandine Kowalski (International Relations Officer) and I held a dedicated meeting with Paola to discuss strengthening the relationship between our two institutions.

A significant part of the exchange concerned preliminary discussions on COILs (Collaborative Online International Learning) and student exchanges, already engaged between Angelica Torres, Associate Professor at Polytech Lille in Electrical Engineering and a UNIANDES alumna, and Alba Graciela Avila Bernal, Associate Professor at UNIANDES in Electrical Engineering. This visit gave us the chance to build on that groundwork at the institutional level and identify concrete next steps.
