π©π° IRE Grant Assembly β Copenhagen, April 2026
π©π° Back from Copenhagen after two energising days at the IRE Grant Assembly β and what a meeting it was.
The IRE β Intelligent Robotic Endoscopes for Improved Healthcare Services consortium gathered on April 16 and 17 for its latest grant assembly, and it was a great reminder of just how far this project has come. The consortium feels stronger and more connected than ever β a real testament to the work everyone has put in since the project kicked off.
The programme was packed: scientific talks and progress updates from each partner, insightful workshop sessions to align on next steps, and plenty of moments to exchange ideas sharing some coffee and pastries. These face-to-face meetings are irreplaceable β they always spark conversations that no video call can replicate.
π And the cherries on top? Copenhagen treated us to splendid spring sunshine, and the view from the top of the Maersk Tower was simply breath-taking β a sweeping panorama over the city that made for a memorable backdrop to the whole event.
π Thank you to Thomas, Olga and Kenny for hosting such a smooth and productive assembly, and to all IRE partners for the energy and commitment they bring to every meeting. Looking forward to the next one!
